HP has announced its new Envy portfolio in the country, with two offerings – Envy 14 and Envy 15. The new laptops by HP have been designed and optimised for creators in the country.

HP has announced Envy 14 and Envy 15 notebooks in India. Meant to serve creative professionals in the country, the new HP Envy notebooks come as personal creative studios that have been custom made for creative consumers like photographers, designers, videographers, music composers or illustrators.
The company claims that the sleek design of the new HP Envy portfolio helps with that. For performance, the new HP notebooks come with the latest Intel chipsets, improved thermal design and ample battery life.
HP has launched the new notebooks alongside an exclusive network called “HP Creators’ Garage”. The community will help budding creators learn from experts across India, collaborate, and share their skills with other creators.
HP Envy 14 and Envy 15 laptop price in India and availability details
As for the laptops, the HP Envy lineup in India is now on sale at a starting price of Rs 1,04,999. That is for the HP Envy 14. The Envy 15 retails for a starting price of Rs 1,54,999. Both the HP notebooks are available in a single Natural Silver colour option.
The HP Envy series is up for sale on HP World Stores as well as its official e-commerce store. Other than that, retail outlets including Reliance, Croma, and other major multi-brand outlets as well as e-commerce sites including Amazon and Flipkart will also sell the new HP devices.
At present, Adobe is offering a complimentary 1-month offer worth up to Rs 4,230 of all 20+ creativity and productivity software from Adobe with the purchase of HP Envy. In addition, consumers can also avail of an exchange offer of up to Rs 15,000 by exchanging with any other HP laptop.
HP Envy 14
More pocket friendly among the two, the new HP Envy 14 comes in a sleek and elegant form factor with narrow bezels and a large screen-to-body ratio. It sports a 14-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, 400 nits brightness, 100% sRGB colour gamut and a 16:10 aspect ratio that allegedly offers 11 per cent greater viewing area than a traditional 16:9 laptop.
The notebook is powered by an 11th Generation Intel Core i5 processor clocked up to 4.2 GHz. It features Intel Turbo Boost Technology and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q design graphics. There is a 16 GB DDR4 RAM onboard, along with a 512GB SSD.
HP says that the Envy 14 has been optimised for creative software programs and tools typically used by creators. These include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, and more.
The PC employs an IR thermal sensor, thin-blade fans and heat pipes to keep it cool through its use. It runs Windows 10 Home 64 and is expected to be upgradeable to Windows 11 later this year.
The HP notebook has ample connectivity options, including one Thunderbolt 4 with USB Type-C, two USB Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.0 and one headphone/microphone combo jack. In addition, the device is backed by a 63.3 Wh Li-ion battery.
Other features include a fingerprint reader, a 720p HD camera with digital shutter, dedicated microphones buttons, a full-size backlit keyboard, and dual speakers by Bang & Olufsen. The notebook weighs 2.59 kg.
HP Envy 15
As for the Envy 15, the new HP notebook comes in an aluminium chassis and diamond-cut design. It sports a 15.6-inch FHD micro-edge display with 400 nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut support.
HP Envy 15 is powered by up to 11th Gen Intel Core i9 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (Max-Q). It features up to 32 GB DDR4 RAM and up to 2 TB SSD. It also offers gaming-class thermals to power through intensive workloads. HP promises up to 16.5 hours of battery life on the Envy 14.
The PC runs Windows 10 Professional and is likely to be upgradeable to Windows 11 soon. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, up to two USB-C Thunderbolt 3, two USB Type-A, HDMI and a multi-format media reader.
Just like the Envy 14, this one also gets a fingerprint reader and a webcam.
